1988-1989: eliminated in Round of 16 by AC Milan (penalty shoot-outs). Savicevic missed his pk.
1989-1990: eliminated in quarter-finals by FC Köln.
1990-1991: winner of the last European Cup with knock-outs stages only beating OM in Final by penalty shoot-outs. Savicevic didn't take part in the penalty session (out at min.84). For a better comprehension of the road to the Final, please note he missed the Round of 16 against Rangers.
1991-1992: 2nd of Group D so eliminated.Sampdoria who tops the group is beaten by Barcelona in Final. Savicevic played 2 games in the 2nd preliminary Round and 2 in the Groups.
1992-1993: played the 2nd leg of the Group Stage only. No Preliminary Round, no Final where Milan is defeated by Olympique de Marseille.
1993-1994: winner over Barcelona. A semi-final was played on one game, the winner of one group received the second the other group.
1994-1995: didn't play the Final during wich Ajax beats Milan 1-0.
1995-1996: eliminated by Bordeaux in quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup (2-0; 0-3). Bayern München beats Girondins de Bordeaux in Final.
1996-1997: ranked 3rd of Group D. Porto and Rosenborg qualify (in that order).
1999-2000: eliminated by Galatasaray on the road to CL Group Stage. Elimintaed in the 1st Round of the Europa League by Inter Bratislava.
2000-2001: eliminated by Osijek in the 2nd round of the Europa League.
