1981-1982: eliminated in the semi-finals of the Champions Cup by Aston Villa who beats Bayern in Final.
1982-1983: winner of the UEFA Cup. Anderlecht beats Benfica.
1983-1984: eliminated by Sparta Praha in the First Round of the UEFA Cup with Real.
1984-1985: did not play the Final of the UEFA Cup won by his club, Real Madrid agaisnt Videoton. Whether by chance or coincidence, Real scored thrice against Rijeka after Lozano had been subbed out.
1985-1986: back to RSCA. In Champions Cup. Eliminated in Semi-finals by Steaua who beats Barça in Final.
1986-1987: eliminated in Quarter-finals of the Champions Cup by Bayern München.
