*** are: Paulo César, Julio César, Leonardo and Nenê. Most of all, Paulo César and Nenê are in balance with Jairzinho.

I have not updated this list since June 2011. But once again, this is not all the Brazilians who used to play in France, but it is a selection.

Now there are Maxwell (certainly one of the best left-back to have ever played in L1), Thiago Motta (certainly one of the toughest), Lucas Moura, Marquinhos all at PSG. And between 2011 and right now in 2015 certainly some others even if today there are less Brazilians than before. Ah and I almost forget David Luiz! From PSG too.

But now also some others for who that "didn't work":

'Luis Fabiano' Clemente, Severino Lucas and Vander (Rennes)
Giovane Elber', Honorato Da Silva 'Nilmar', Cléber Anderson (OL): a bit old, a bit young, a bit shaky.
'Vampeta' (PSG)
André Luiz Moreira (OM)
'Adailton' Martins Bolzan (PSG)
Dudu Cearense & César Belli (Rennes)
Ronaldinho's brother, Roberto de Assis Moreira (Montpellier for his last season)
Ricardo Luís Pozzi Rodrigues 'Ricardinho' (Bordeaux)
Flavio Cuca (Mulhouse, St Etienne, Mister 22, or 2 goals a season)
' Jeovânio ' Rocha Do Nascimento (Valenciennes)
Luan (Toulouse)
Fabian Bolivar (AS Monaco)
'Geraldo' Dutra Perera (one season in Paris)
'Abel Braga' (PSG) (but not at the same point of the precedent names)
Joël Camargo (2 matches for PSG and went to Saad).

And to finish on a high, roll of honor.
Et pour finir sur une bonne note, tableau d'honneur.
